Abstract

Genetic Words Carrying Sequential Context

Yukio Ohsawa (The University of Tsukuba)

The context of a document is propagated as a building block of words, through the development of content thorough the document. This context-flow is symbolized as a genetic crossover, where each chromosome represents a word. This model is capable of representing the changes of the meaning of a word within a document, reflecting the local context varying along with sentences. The exper imental results are shown shortly for telling how this model called genetic words realizes the reliable understanding of a document. By applying genetic words to KeyGraph , it becomes clear how this wo rks and can be extended to being used for other kinds of data than documents.
